We are looking for a Process Mechanical Municipal Engineer to join our Water & Engineering Design team! As a Graduate Engineer, you will participate in the planning, design, permitting and construction of a variety of Civil and Environmental engineering projects for municipal and private clients. Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in: Development of supporting project information (i.e. calculations, analyses, evaluations, cost estimates, report text, figures, drawings, etc.) Performing construction phase engineering tasks (i.e. submittal review, test data evaluation and compilation, etc.) Assisting with the development of drawings using AutoCAD Helping to develop preliminary facilities layouts and designs Maintaining open communication with project team members and project managers.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in the planning, design, permitting, and construction of Civil and Environmental engineering projects.
  • Develop supporting project information including calculations, analyses, evaluations, cost estimates, report text, figures, and drawings.
  • Perform construction phase engineering tasks such as submittal review and test data evaluation and compilation.
  • Assist with the development of drawings using AutoCAD.
  • Help develop preliminary facilities layouts and designs.
  • Maintain open communication with project team members and project managers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
  • 0-3 years of experience; internship or co-op experience preferred.
  • EIT preferred with intent to pursue Professional Engineering license.
  • Intermediate AutoCAD skills a plus but not required (i.e. layout, surface development, volume calculations).
  • Willingness to observe construction activities and complete field investigation.
