About the position
The Graduate Research Assistant will support the College of Liberal Arts Dean's Office at The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley by surveying and analyzing the space utilized by the College. This role involves creating databases and maps related to the College's assigned space, requiring collaboration with the interim Associate Dean for Faculty Development. The position is part-time, with an expected commitment of 20 hours per week during the Spring 2025 semester, and includes travel to both Brownsville and Edinburg campuses for data collection.
Responsibilities
- Assist the College of Liberal Arts Dean's Office with surveying space usage.
- Create databases and maps of the College's assigned space.
- Collect data at both Brownsville and Edinburg campuses.
Requirements
- Advanced knowledge and experience in Microsoft Excel.
- Advanced knowledge and experience in ArcGIS.
