About the position

As a Shift Manager at Amazon, you will lead a team of up to 100 employees in a logistics environment, ensuring timely and quality delivery of customer orders. This role involves comprehensive onboarding through an internal academy, where you will develop people management skills and collaborate with various departments to optimize processes, enhance workplace safety, and drive technological advancements. Your leadership will be crucial in managing resources effectively and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Leading and training a team of up to 100 employees
• Planning and controlling internal processes
• Deriving recommendations for action and specific measures for process improvement based on metrics such as workplace safety, productivity, and quality
• Collaborating with on-site upstream and downstream departments
• Participating in overarching projects to optimize customer satisfaction
• Effective resource and workflow management
• Ensuring compliance with occupational safety regulations and environmental protection

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or nearing completion of a bachelor's program
• Advanced proficiency in written and spoken English and Italian
• Relevant experience in conducting data analysis
• Knowledge of working with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Willingness to work in shifts (early, late, and night shifts)
