About the position

The Grant Accounting Manager at the University of Arkansas is responsible for managing all post-award accounting and grant management activities for a significant two-year grant from the State of Arkansas. This role involves coordination with various departments to ensure proper financial management, reporting, and compliance with grant requirements, while fostering a collaborative work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all post-award accounting and grant management activities for a large two-year grant from the State of Arkansas.
  • Coordinate with Business Services to process purchasing.
  • Review and approve all subaward reporting and invoicing.
  • Manage budget categories and ensure compliance with grant requirements.
  • Coordinate with the Principal Investigator (PI) and other key personnel to update and manage project goals.
  • Assist with financial and project reporting.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, general business, or a related field.
  • At least two years of experience in auditing, accounting, or a related area.
  • At least two years of experience in project management.

Nice-to-haves

  • Demonstrated experience with financial management and reporting.
  • Experience with Workday accounting.
