About the position

The College is seeking a highly talented professional with a strong work ethic to fill a new position as Grant & Program Manager. This position is responsible for researching grant opportunities and making recommendations to management ensuring compliance with requirements of State, Federal, and regional granters; writing and managing grants; and serving as the primary point of contact for grant-related issues. In addition, the position supports the Colleges institutional research function by establishing and maintaining commonly used grant-related data records for planning and decision-making. This position must have the ability to interpret and process policies and procedures, experience with strategic planning and grant writing and program management. The ability to organize, multi-task and prioritize, meet deadlines, and follow-up on assignments with minimum direction is essential. Experience with grant writing, administration, management reporting, resource management and budgeting. This position may require some nights and weekends, will allow for some remote work.

Responsibilities

  • Research grant opportunities and make recommendations to management.
  • Ensure compliance with requirements of State, Federal, and regional granters.
  • Write and manage grants.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for grant-related issues.
  • Establish and maintain commonly used grant-related data records for planning and decision-making.
  • Interpret and process policies and procedures.
  • Support the Colleges institutional research function.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in related field.
  • Two to four years' experience working in a program and/or with databases.
  • Experience with strategic planning and grant writing.
  • Experience with program management.
  • Ability to organize, multi-task and prioritize.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and follow-up on assignments with minimum direction.
