About the position

The Grant Coordinator position is a full-time, grant-funded role within the Office for Victims of Crime at the City and County of Denver. The primary responsibility is to manage the 2022 Enhanced Collaborative Model Task Force to Combat Human Trafficking Grant, ensuring that all objectives and deliverables are met. This role involves collaboration with various stakeholders, including the DATA Director at the Denver District Attorney's Office and the Victim Assistance Director at the Asian Pacific Development Center, to oversee grant management, program evaluation, and administrative support.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the Office for Victims of Crime 2022 Enhanced Collaborative Model Task Force to Combat Human Trafficking Grant.
  • Manage grant objectives and deliverables in collaboration with the DATA Director and Victim Assistance Director.
  • Provide budget management and oversight for the grant.
  • Submit grant reports and ensure deadlines are met.
  • Manage subawards and grant-funded positions.
  • Collect quarterly and semi-annual data from DATA partners for grant reports.
  • Lead monthly research and evaluation meetings to measure program effectiveness.
  • Provide project management for grant programmatic deliverables.
  • Assist with administrative support for quarterly meetings and advisory committees.
  • Facilitate trainings and contribute to developing new training presentations.
  • Collaborate with community-based agencies and governmental organizations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Public Administration, Social Work, Psychology, Criminal Justice, Political Science, Communications, or a related field.
  • Five years of technical or administrative experience in research, evaluation, case management, or implementing work processes.
  • Demonstrated experience in human trafficking or related fields preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal, writing, research, and analytical skills.
  • Experience with grant writing and reporting.

  • Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple priorities.
