About the position

The Grant Coordinator/Project Director is responsible for overseeing the implementation of a SAMHSA grant under the supervision of the Specialty Courts Administrator/Program Supervisor. This role involves daily oversight of projects and grants, ensuring compliance with contract provisions, and facilitating communication among various stakeholders. The coordinator will lead collaborative teams, monitor program activities, and report on grant performance, while also organizing training and attending conferences as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership to support the success of collaborative teams including court staff and community partners.
  • Monitor grant program compliance with contract provisions and funding source regulations.
  • Disseminate program information to targeted audiences including staff and funders.
  • Ensure open communication and accurate record-keeping of meetings and program policies.
  • Oversee the SAMHSA Project, ensuring program goals and objectives are met on time.
  • Monitor budget and purchases, submitting necessary budget modifications.
  • Collect and report data to meet SAMHSA obligations under the GPRA Modernization Act.
  • Organize team training to build proficiencies.
  • Attend and present at statewide and national conferences as required.
  • Compile and maintain statistical information for grant reporting and evaluation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field required; Master's degree preferred.
  • At least two years of related experience required.
  • Project management/grant management experience preferred.
