About the position
The Grant Writer position at Vee involves managing the entire grant writing process to support nonprofit organizations. This role is crucial for maximizing funding opportunities that align with Vee's mission and the missions of its customers. The Grant Writer will collaborate with various teams and customers to develop compelling grant applications and ensure timely reporting on grant outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end grant process, including research, writing, and submission of grant proposals to foundations and federations.
- Work closely with nonprofit customers to gather relevant information and align grant proposals with their missions and needs.
- Collaborate with the operations and success teams to align grant objectives with operational capabilities and ensure seamless execution.
- Identify and evaluate new funding opportunities from foundations, federations, and other potential sources.
- Track grant deadlines and ensure timely reporting to funders on grant outcomes and impact.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of grant writing experience, ideally with foundations or federations.
- Strong research, writing, and editing skills with attention to detail.
