About the position

The Grants & Community Partnerships Manager at Visa Foundation plays a crucial role in supporting grantmaking activities aimed at fostering inclusive economies. This position focuses on facilitating access to financial services and resources for gender diverse and inclusive small businesses, while ensuring responsible and efficient disbursement of philanthropic resources across various programmatic areas. The Manager will also be responsible for impact data analysis and reporting, contributing to the Foundation's mission of uplifting communities worldwide.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Sr. Director in identifying, developing, and nurturing grantee partnerships globally.
  • Lead Visa Foundation's community presence initiatives, particularly through Visa Foundation Gives.
  • Assist with portfolio-wide analysis, financial and impact management.
  • Conduct quarterly and annual overviews in partnership with the Grants team.
  • Support Visa Foundation leadership with internal and external presentations and reports.

Requirements

  • 5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD.
  • Experience as a grant-maker, preferably with private foundations.
  • Expert level in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Strong analytical skills and proven ability to connect different work streams.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in a consulting or investment function.
  • Fluency in foreign languages.
  • Experience working in emerging markets.
