About the position
The Grants Management Specialist I (GMS I) position at IMSolutions involves performing grant administration functions to assist the Government PCO/Grants Officer in grant closeouts and financial reporting. This role is essential for ensuring compliance with federal regulations and managing project documentation effectively. The position is fully remote and is targeted at entry-level candidates with a focus on federal grants management.
Responsibilities
- Perform the administration or termination, and/or closeout of grants, and/or grants assistance and agreement awards.
- Organize, file, and maintain all current project documents and enter information into and manage the digital project databases.
- Coordinate and conduct various grants-related activities.
Requirements
- 2+ years of Federal grants experience
- Bachelor's degree or at least 24 credit hours in business or a business-related field
- Knowledge of federal grants laws, regulations, and policies
- Understanding of business and industry grant practices
- Experience in grant financial analysis and providing technical assistance and recommendations
- U.S. Citizenship or Foreign National with a work permit residing in the U.S. for three (3) or more years
- Ability to pass a Federal Public Trust Clearance.
