About the position

The Grants Management Specialist II - Federal Grant Support role at IMSolutions involves supporting the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) by updating federal grant policies and procedures. This position requires a deep understanding of the full grant lifecycle and entails designing, developing, and implementing federal grants management policies while serving as a liaison between the U.S. Federal Government and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Designing, developing, implementing, and interpreting federal grants/assistance management policies, procedures, and practices.
  • Serving as a liaison between the U.S. Federal Government and external customers, recipients, and awardee community to clarify, interpret, and resolve issues.
  • Providing knowledge and practical resources to stakeholders to ensure that customer service is relevant, accurate, and timely.
  • Maintaining copies of contracts/grants, staffing all requested changes, and determining if changes apply to other grants.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or at least 24 credit hours in business or a business-related field.
  • Six (6) years of Federal Government grants management experience.
  • Knowledge of federal grant laws, regulations, and policies and an understanding of business and industry grant practices.
  • Experience in grant financial analysis and providing technical assistance and recommendations to meet the grant's intent.
  • U.S. Citizenship or Foreign National with a work permit and residing in the U.S. for three (3) or more years.
  • Ability to pass a Federal Public Trust Clearance.

Nice-to-haves

  • Knowledge of eRACommons.
  • Certified Federal Grants Manager certification through NGMA.
