About the position
The Grants Management Specialist II will support the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) by updating federal grant policies and procedures. This role involves leveraging a comprehensive understanding of the full grant lifecycle to design, develop, implement, and interpret federal grants management policies and practices. The position is fully remote, allowing for 100% telework within the U.S.
Responsibilities
- Designing, developing, implementing, and interpreting federal grants/assistance management policies, procedures, and practices.
- Serving as a liaison between the U.S. Federal Government and external customers, recipients, and awardee community to clarify, interpret, and resolve issues.
- Providing knowledge and practical resources to stakeholders to ensure that customer service is relevant, accurate, and timely.
- Maintaining copies of contracts/grants, staffing all requested changes, and determining if changes apply to other grants.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or at least 24 credit hours in business or a business-related field.
- Six (6) years of Federal Government grants management experience.
- Knowledge of federal grant laws, regulations, and policies and an understanding of business and industry grant practices.
- Experience in grant financial analysis and providing technical assistance and recommendations to meet the grant's intent.
- U.S. Citizenship or Foreign National with a work permit and residing in the U.S. for three (3) or more years.
- Ability to pass a Federal Public Trust Clearance.
