About the position

Intone Networks is seeking a skilled GraphQL Developer to join our team in Philadelphia, PA. This position is a hybrid role, requiring the developer to work in the office three days a week. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in GraphQL and experience in developing and maintaining APIs. As a GraphQL Developer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing efficient and scalable GraphQL APIs that meet the needs of our clients. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Your role will also involve troubleshooting and debugging issues, optimizing performance, and ensuring the security of the APIs you develop. This is a contract position with an estimated salary range of $93.6K to $119K per year, depending on experience.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement GraphQL APIs to support various applications.
• Collaborate with product managers and other stakeholders to gather requirements.
• Optimize API performance and ensure scalability.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues related to API functionality.
• Maintain documentation for API specifications and usage guidelines.
• Ensure security best practices are followed in API development.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a GraphQL Developer or similar role.
• Strong understanding of GraphQL and its ecosystem.
• Experience with API design and development.
• Familiarity with JavaScript and related frameworks.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Apollo Client and Server.
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with cloud services such as AWS or Azure.
