About the position

Our client is a major U.S. Army organization currently in need of a full-time graphic designer who will be used mainly for print and presentation work. The designer will support all design needs for the organization including, but not limited to, presentations and print collateral materials, trade advertising, event branding, and website mock-ups & design. The ideal candidate must be highly proactive and willing to take on the responsibility for developing this position into one that extends beyond just the completion of assigned projects. This position requires an individual eager to understand the systems that the organization supports. The candidate is also required to be an expert in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign. Presentation design skills in PowerPoint are mandatory as well. All levels will be considered, and salary will be based on the level of experience.

Responsibilities

• Translate complex concepts, as communicated by the client, into compelling marketing materials and presentations.
• Responsible for adhering to U.S. Army and other branding standards while creating effective, dynamic, and well thought-out deliverables.
• Facilitate the creative development of new projects from start to finish.
• Consult with clients on design, communications, and digital strategies/solutions.
• Provide quality assurance for all creative deliverables.
• Develop project timelines and manage work under strict deadlines.
• Research and stay abreast of current design trends and new technologies.

Requirements

• 5 years of design experience (Required).
• Expertise in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
• Mandatory presentation design skills in PowerPoint.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a SECRET security clearance.
• Must be a U.S. citizen.
