The Graphic and Visual Designer is a .75 FTE or 30-hour-per-week position at the University of Minnesota, specifically within the Bakken Center for Spirituality & Healing. This role is pivotal in creating visual content that communicates themes and messages through various forms, including text, audio, images, photography, animation, video, and interactive content. This includes producing print and digital advertising, social media graphics, flyers, videos, online newsletters, web content, original illustrations, and contributing to the Bakken Center's biennial magazine, Mandala. The designer will utilize graphic software and web-based tools to ensure the creation of accurate and high-quality finished products. Additionally, the role involves maintaining and developing brand identity, design standards, and policies for the Bakken Center, ensuring that all visual communications align with the center's mission and values. This entry-level position offers an anticipated starting rate at or near the minimum rate for this classification of $21.83 per hour, providing a competitive wage for a part-time role in a dynamic and supportive environment.
