About the position

Monarch Trophy Studio is a fast-paced, high-volume retailer specializing in awards, trophies, and medals. We are currently seeking a Graphic Artist/Designer to join our team in an entry-level position focused on graphic art and design. The ideal candidate will possess a working knowledge of computer-based graphics programs such as Corel Draw, Adobe Photoshop, and other similar software. This role requires experience with large color printers, including Logojet, Mimaki, and UV color printing machines. Attention to detail is crucial, as is the ability to ensure proper spelling in all designs. Candidates must be able to create intricate designs using both drawings and clip art. This position is full-time, working Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with a pay rate of $15.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Create and design graphics for awards, trophies, and medals.
• Utilize Corel Draw, Adobe Photoshop, and similar software to produce designs.
• Operate large color printers such as Logojet and Mimaki for production.
• Ensure all designs are accurate and free of spelling errors.
• Draw intricate designs using drawings and clip art.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines.

Requirements

• Associate degree in Graphic Design or related field (Required).
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in graphic design (Required).
• At least 1 year of experience using CorelDraw (Required).
• Proficiency in using computer-based graphics programs.
