About the position

The Graphic Artist position at Warner Bros. Discovery is responsible for designing and producing still graphics for live news programming. This role requires effective communication with producers and other design team members to fulfill various graphic requests while maintaining high-quality standards under tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Design and produce still graphics and other design elements as assigned by Graphics Supervisors.
• Evaluate and manage time, resources, and deadlines to produce desired products both individually and as part of a team.
• Collaborate with Graphics Supervisors, co-workers, and show production staff to determine needs and facilitate project execution.
• Acquire and utilize knowledge of equipment operation, production techniques, and engineering requirements.
• Proactively use downtime to assist co-workers or enhance skills.

Requirements

• Degree from an accredited art school with emphasis in graphic design, motion design, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work well under pressure.
• Ability to work in a diverse, collaborative environment and assist other designers.
• Excellent computer, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Expert level proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc).
