About the position

As a Graphic Design Director, you will be responsible for creating innovative concepts that align with the mission of uniting people to purpose. This role involves leading a creative team to produce visually stunning designs for various platforms, including digital and print, while ensuring a cohesive brand image across all materials.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute creative concepts for digital and print materials, including design for broadcast experiences.
• Lead the design team in creating visually appealing graphics for screens, social media, websites, print materials, and events.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure a consistent and cohesive brand image across all touch points.
• Oversee the development of brand guidelines and ensure they are implemented in all design projects.
• Provide strategic input on brand development and visual storytelling to enhance the church's overall impact.

Requirements

• 4+ years of relevant design experience
• High proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign
• Demonstrated expertise in branding and brand development
• Excellent team building and leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a creative team
• Keen attention to detail
• Great time management skills & ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
• Remarkable communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
• Online portfolio available for consideration.

• Proven success with forward-thinking design within a church/non-profit setting
• Understanding of marketing principles
