About the position

The Graphic Design Specialist is responsible for creating and delivering creative materials consisting of both print and digital assets suitable for multiple channels and audiences, internally for SMB Corporate (internal communications, human resources, franchise development) and/or for individual SMB brands (ServiceMaster Restore, ServiceMaster Clean, Merry Maids, TWO MEN AND A TRUCK, and Aftermath Services).

Responsibilities

  • Create designs, concepts, and sample layouts based on knowledge of layout principles and aesthetic design concepts
  • Provide high-quality, brand appropriate graphic designs using InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Adobe Express
  • Experience creating captivating social post designs and campaigns across Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn
  • Produce high-quality landing pages and microsites using platforms such as Wix and Unbounce
  • Proactively evaluate, develop, and incorporate design and photography enhancements
  • Create graphics for internal and external facing projects and campaigns including but not limited to events (e.g., Annual Meetings and events), ad campaigns, social graphics, infographics; support brand by producing graphic design upon request
  • Stay abreast of graphic design trends and techniques
  • Create and update consumer-facing brand collateral as needed (e.g., brochures, e-brochures, fliers, direct mail, and campaigns)
  • Support brand by reviewing outsourced collateral creation to ensure brand compliance
  • Participate in strategic discussions and decisions around brand standards, and understand and consult on brand standards

  • 1-5 years' experience in graphic design or related field is required
