Be an important part of Pratt Institute's dynamic and collaborative communications and marketing division. Pratt Institute's Communications and Marketing division seeks a Graphic Designer who will be a key member of the Creative Services team. The Graphic Designer, under the supervision of the Creative Director and Assistant Creative Director, will work in collaboration with our writing, digital, marketing, and client services teams to produce attractive, user-centric, innovative designs for integrated, multi-platform use across Pratt's Web, digital, and print media. This is a hybrid work position that occasionally requires purposeful, on-campus presence. The ideal candidate will be a deeply collaborative, multidisciplinary designer, with strong interpersonal skills, who is passionate about design and its impact, is a strategic thinker with a strong understanding of visual systems, will have impeccable design skills, experience managing multiple client projects and deadlines, and demonstrated ability to develop design concepts across multiple touchpoints consistent with desired project goals, messaging, and user experience. Most importantly, the ideal candidate will be a strong conceptual thinker who can also create visual solutions; an articulate communicator who can present and explain those concepts and solutions; and a nuanced collaborator who welcomes participation, gives and accepts constructive feedback, and thrives on the inspiration that comes from hearing all voices.
