About the position
The Graphic Designer will support the Director of Digital Communications and Design by creating various digital and print materials for the Department. This role involves designing event invitations, departmental reports with data visualization, and web/social graphics, while also assisting in the development of new templates and transitioning existing assets to align with the Department's brand identity.
Responsibilities
- Create digital and print collateral materials including event invites and departmental reports.
- Design web and social graphics in line with the Department's branding.
- Assist in the development of new templates and assets for the Department.
- Support the transition of existing assets to the new branding.
Requirements
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe CS, including Photoshop, Illustrator, XD, and InDesign.
- Experience with Acrobat Pro and designing fillable forms.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, particularly Word, Publishing, and PowerPoint.
- Basic web design and HTML coding experience is a plus.
- Experience with CMS, particularly Drupal and SharePoint, is a plus.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in data visualization for reports.
- Familiarity with digital marketing principles.
