About the position

The Graphic Designer and Digital Marketing Specialist is a part-time, on-site role at 120 Degreez MEP, an engineering firm in downtown San Diego. This position focuses on enhancing the company's visual and digital presence through graphic design and strategic marketing efforts, particularly in the construction and architectural sectors. The ideal candidate will leverage their creativity and technical skills to produce engaging content and manage social media platforms, contributing to the firm's marketing objectives and client collaborations.

Responsibilities

  • Design and produce visually compelling graphics for digital and print materials, ensuring consistency with brand identity.
  • Create marketing collateral, including brochures, banners, and presentation materials, to support business development efforts.
  • Continuously enhance and evolve the 120 Degreez brand through innovative and strategic visual content.
  • Develop, curate, and publish engaging content across LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook.
  • Track and analyze social media metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of campaigns, making data-driven recommendations for improvement.
  • Engage with the online community, responding to comments and messages to build strong relationships with the audience.
  • Lead and manage a project to collaborate with clients' marketing teams, acquiring approved marketing materials for projects.
  • Showcase projects on social media platforms, highlighting contributions and expertise.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance social media presence, drive engagement, and achieve marketing goals.
  • Collaborate closely with marketing and executive teams to align social media activities with broader business objectives.
  • Manage multiple design and marketing projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met without compromising quality.
  • Undertake other tasks as assigned by the executive team.

Requirements

  • A professional portfolio showcasing a diverse range of design and marketing projects.
  • Proven experience in graphic design and digital marketing, preferably in the construction, building, or architectural industries.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite or Canva.
  • In-depth knowledge of social media platforms, best practices, and trends.
