About the position

Craig Road Animal Hospital is seeking a talented Graphic Designer and Video Editor to join our in-house social media and content creation team. This full-time position requires the successful candidate to work from our Las Vegas office, as remote work is not an option. The ideal candidate will be proficient in creating graphics and editing video content using the Adobe software suite, which will be utilized for online platforms, digital signage, and printed materials. In collaboration with the Content Creation Manager and other members of the administration team, the graphics and video editing assistant will play a crucial role in gathering content and managing our social media presence. A keen interest in social media and online content creation is highly advantageous. Additional responsibilities may include editing and proofreading internal documents. As part of the marketing team, this role offers mentorship from experienced marketing professionals and provides substantial opportunities for growth for the right individual. Key skills for this position include the ability to develop graphics, images, videos, and designs using Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or other design software. The candidate will be responsible for researching and curating new imagery and videos for content on a weekly basis, assisting with the archiving and storage of digital content, and pitching content ideas as part of the marketing team. The ability to work both independently and collaboratively is essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities

  • Create graphics and edit video content using Adobe software suite.
  • Gather content and manage social media presence in collaboration with the Content Creation Manager.
  • Research and curate new imagery and videos for weekly content.
  • Assist with archiving and storing digital content on hard drives.
  • Pitch content ideas as part of the marketing team and independently.
  • Edit and proof internal documents as needed.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator.
  • Experience in video editing and content creation.
  • Strong writing skills for content development.
  • Basic knowledge of WordPress and JavaScript is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • 1 year of experience in editing and design preferred.
