About the position

The Graphic Designer/Artist at Mediclo will play a crucial role in crafting innovative and visually compelling content that enhances the brand's identity. This full-time position requires a creative individual with a strong eye for detail and a passion for design, responsible for producing a variety of graphics for digital advertisements, branding, and social media. The designer will collaborate with the marketing team to ensure that all visuals align with the company's standards and current design trends.

Responsibilities

  • Design and layout artwork/creative graphics for digital advertisements, logos, packaging, signs, branding elements, and social media graphics.
  • Create original artwork and illustrations that align with the brand's style and voice.
  • Provide production-level graphic design support.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team regarding creative direction and strategy.
  • Maintain a high standard of visual quality and consistency in accordance with established brand standards and guidelines.
  • Stay up-to-date with design trends and industry best practices to ensure visuals are fresh and relevant.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or associate's degree in graphic design, visual arts, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3+ years of experience in a design and production environment.
  • Proven experience as a Graphic Designer and/or Visual Artist with a strong portfolio showcasing design and artistic skills.
  • Expertise in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Acrobat Pro).
  • Strong understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and visual hierarchy.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Powerpoint, Word, and Excel, Adobe After Effects, and Photoshop animation.
  • Ability to work in a high-pressure environment, managing multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Attention to detail, both visually and grammatically.
  • Creative mindset with a keen eye for detail and a passion for visual storytelling.

Nice-to-haves

  • Knowledge of motion graphics and video editing software (e.g., Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro) is a plus.
  • Experience with UX/UI design and web development is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with various design trends and cultural movements.
