About the position

The Graphic Designer/Artist at Peraton is responsible for creating compelling graphic designs for various intelligence products, including technical reports, presentations, and other materials. This role requires collaboration with both technical and non-technical team members to ensure that all graphics meet intelligence production standards while effectively communicating messages through various media formats.

Responsibilities

• Create compelling graphic designs for written and digital products used in intelligence.
• Develop design concepts and layouts for technical reports, PowerPoint slides, guides, manuals, and other materials.
• Communicate and collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical teammates on complex projects.
• Ensure all graphics conform to intelligence production tradecraft standards.
• Conduct technical quality checks on graphic materials.
• Identify effective ways to convey messages using color, type, illustration, photography, and animation.

Requirements

• 9 years of experience without a BS/BA, 5 years with a BS/BA, 3 years with an MS/MA, or 0 years with a PhD.
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Photoshop and Illustrator.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Prior experience providing graphic support to the Intelligence Community.
• TS/SCI clearance adjudication or ability to obtain SCI and pass a polygraph.
