About the position

The NFL is seeking a Graphic Designer Associate to create innovative visual designs that enhance the NFL brand. This role involves collaboration with an Art Director and the creative team to develop designs for major events, club branding, and various league initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong design background, a passion for storytelling through visuals, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Design compelling, innovative, and engaging designs based off an established creative brief
• Create custom typography, logos, color palettes, patterns, and photographic treatments for branded style guides
• Be an excellent storyteller both verbally and visually, bringing ideas to life using sketches, comps, presentations
• Demonstrate strong presentation skills to effectively communicate creative ideas, and move the needle within the creative team and with less design-fluent stakeholders
• Collaborate with Creative Directors, Art Directors, Designers, Project Managers, and Production Team to deliver industry-leading creative work efficiently and in a timely manner

Requirements

• 5+ years of design experience developing brands, style guides and branded experiences
• A bachelor's degree in communication design, graphic design, fine arts, or an equivalent field
• Strong portfolio with engaging, conceptually driven content that shows range, diversity, and a passion for creativity
• Motivated, detail-oriented, organized, and accountable, able to work independently and in highly collaborative settings
• Strategic problem-solving skills and ability to distill complex information into meaningful concepts, ideas, and designs
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, often juggling multiple priorities and successfully balancing immediate short-term needs while maintaining a strategic vision for long-term projects
• Fluency in Adobe CC programs like Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.
• Basic understanding of print and digital production standards such as color modes (CMYK, RGB, Pantone), bleed, packaging links, etc.
• Basic knowledge and understanding of Keynote
• Must be willing to work full-time in the NFL League office in New York City
