About the position

The Graphic Designer & Brand Specialist at Nexteer is responsible for creating visually compelling digital and print assets that support the company's global marketing communications strategy. This role is essential for the Global Marketing Communications team, enabling them to effectively convey the company's messaging across various platforms while adhering to brand standards and business objectives. The position offers the opportunity to shape the visual representation of Nexteer's marketing efforts, contributing to a forward-thinking brand positioning in the automotive industry.

Responsibilities

  • Develops innovative design concepts and creates visual assets that align with Nexteer's global brand strategy and messaging guidelines.
  • Designs high-quality marketing materials such as brochures, presentations, case studies, posters, and digital ads to support business objectives.
  • Supports web design and management, ensuring visually appealing and user-friendly designs for website content.
  • Collaborates with the social media team to design engaging graphics for various platforms that enhance storytelling and audience engagement.
  • Provides creative support for global and regional campaigns, ensuring design concepts resonate with target audiences.
  • Designs visually compelling presentations and materials for trade shows, webinars, and corporate events.
  • Supports video content production by designing motion graphics and visual assets for marketing and corporate communications initiatives.
  • Works closely with internal functions and external agencies to ensure designs align with global strategies and project timelines.
  • Maintains and enforces Nexteer's visual brand guidelines, ensuring all designs meet quality standards.
  • Responds to feedback from internal stakeholders, making revisions as needed to finalize designs.
  • Contributes to the digital asset management system, ensuring all design work is properly archived and organized.
  • Stays up-to-date with design trends, tools, and best practices to enhance design work.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in graphic design, preferably in a corporate or B2B environment.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating creative expertise in various design styles and mediums, including print and digital.
  • Proficiency with industry-standard design software, including Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, etc.).
  • Solid understanding of design principles, typography, and layout.
  • Experience designing for both digital and print media, with an understanding of design elements across different platforms.
  • Familiarity with web design and user interface principles, including experience with WordPress or other CMS platforms.
  • Experience with motion graphics and video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere, After Effects) is a plus.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines while maintaining high creative standards.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with teams and stakeholders.
  • Proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with a passion for design and creative problem-solving.
  • Knowledge of branding principles and commitment to brand consistency across all visual outputs.
