About the position

Hanover Company is seeking a talented and creative Graphic Designer to join our Capital Markets investment team. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for design, a passion for real estate, and the ability to translate complex concepts into visually compelling graphics. As a Graphic Designer, you will play a key role in supporting our investment efforts through innovative design solutions, particularly in developing investment presentations and enhancing real estate development proposals using Adobe InDesign and Illustrator. In this role, you will be responsible for creating visually appealing graphics for a variety of platforms, including print, digital, and presentations. You will design and develop high-quality investment presentations that effectively communicate project details and financial information. Additionally, you will assist in creating comprehensive real estate development proposals that visually convey project concepts and strategies. Your storytelling skills will be essential as you use financial and market information to craft compelling visual narratives that explain how transactions are attractive to investors and lenders. You will also maintain and evolve the company's brand guidelines to ensure consistency across all visual communications. Developing brochures, precedent packages, and other marketing materials to support Development Partners' initiatives will be part of your responsibilities. Collaboration is key in this position, as you will work closely with the capital markets and development teams to understand project requirements and deliver design solutions that meet business objectives. You will contribute to brainstorming sessions and provide creative input to enhance overall project concepts and strategies. Managing multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project deadlines, will also be a critical aspect of your role.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience as a Graphic Designer, preferably in the investment, financial or real estate industry.
  • Strong skills in Adobe InDesign, along with other Adobe Creative Suite software (Illustrator, Photoshop).
  • Strong portfolio showcasing a range of design skills and creativity.
  • Excellent understanding of typography, color theory, and layout principles.
  • Ability to translate complex ideas into visually appealing and understandable graphics.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Nice-to-haves

  • Knowledge of web design and user experience (UX) principles is a plus.
  • Familiarity with investment and real estate development concepts is a plus.
