About the position

Join our dynamic and creative team as a Graphic Designer and unleash your faith-based artistic talents in a collaborative work environment. We are seeking a skilled and imaginative individual to bring visual concepts to life through innovative design solutions. As a Graphic Designer, you will play a key role in shaping our Church's visual identity and captivating our community through compelling visuals. You will lead in the weekly graphic design needs of the church, creating compelling designs for a diverse range of audiences. This role requires you to conceptualize ideas and concepts with the Creative Team to brand sermon series and create marketing collateral, new designs, layouts, logos, and more. You will also provide graphics regularly for Social Media and other marketing initiatives, oversee and manage website updates, design, and information. The ability to quickly transition from one project to another and manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines is essential. You will receive projects with design direction from staff and the Creative Team and are expected to complete them on time and with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Lead in the weekly graphic design needs of the church.
• Create compelling designs for a diverse range of audiences.
• Conceptualize ideas and concepts with the Creative Team to brand sermon series and create marketing collateral, new designs, layouts, logos, and more.
• Provide graphics regularly for Social Media and other marketing.

Requirements

• Proven experience in graphic design with a strong portfolio showcasing creative work.
• Proficiency in Mac OS X and Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
• Knowledge of typesetting, content management systems, and graphic design principles.
• Ability to illustrate ideas effectively and bring concepts to life visually.
• Strong understanding of color theory and its application in design projects.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Detail-oriented with a keen eye for aesthetics and visual consistency.
• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or related field is preferred.
