About the position

The Graphic Designer position at our rapidly expanding cosmetics company is a pivotal role aimed at enhancing our brand's visual identity and driving business growth. The ideal candidate will be responsible for a variety of design tasks that include packaging design, container label design, and the development of in-store merchandising materials. This includes creating shelf talkers, point-of-purchase displays, and header cards that effectively communicate our brand message and attract customers in retail environments. Additionally, the designer will be involved in gondola display design, print collateral development, and advertising initiatives, ensuring that all visual elements align with our marketing strategies. The role requires a collaborative team player who can work seamlessly with various departments, including marketing, product development, and sales. Excellent project and time management skills are essential, as the designer will be expected to handle multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines. Proficiency in file preparation and the press check/approval process is crucial to ensure that all designs are executed flawlessly. The candidate should also possess strong illustration skills to create unique and engaging visuals that resonate with our target audience. Familiarity with design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign is a must, along with a basic understanding of Mac systems and software. Knowledge of MS Office and basic PC/Mac operations will be beneficial. The ideal candidate should be resourceful and able to leverage the internet for research and inspiration, contributing to innovative design solutions that elevate our brand's presence in the cosmetics industry.

Responsibilities

Requirements
