If this sounds like you, then we need to talk… inkDOTS, a leading print production shop in Northwest Houston since 2006, is currently seeking a Graphic Designer/Customer Service Rep to join our team. The Graphic Designer/Customer Service Rep at inkDOTS reports to the Vice President, and is responsible for providing friendly, professional and accurate service to customers through face to face interaction, via email and/or by phone. We offer a creative environment, insurance and benefits. This is an hourly position with paid holidays and vacation time. The essential functions of this role include providing excellent customer service to meet the needs and expectations of customers, advising customers and recommending appropriate print solutions, and creating and designing images and graphic files for production. The Graphic Designer/Customer Service Rep will also estimate printing jobs, effectively prioritize and manage time while meeting deadlines, and organize electronic documents, images, and graphic files for ease of use, transmittal, and production. Pre-press production checks are also part of the responsibilities. To succeed in this role, a strong fluency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Acrobat) is essential for the production and design of print signs, banners, vehicle graphics, decals, posters, business cards, etc. Experience creating content in a professional environment is required, and previous experience in the printing industry is preferred. A portfolio of work that demonstrates design skills is necessary, along with MS Office Suite experience.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Portfolio of work that demonstrates design skills.
  • MS Office Suite experience required.
