About the position

The Graphic Designer & Digital Marketer will oversee the implementation and ongoing maintenance of the Manchester Media Group and its associated radio stations' websites and social media assets. This role is crucial in ensuring that the digital presence of the Manchester Media Group is not only maintained but also enhanced through effective digital marketing strategies. The scope of oversight includes, but is not limited to, digital marketing ad campaigns, in-house graphic design, social media campaigns, and all online activity for the Manchester Media Group and our associated brands. In this position, the Graphic Designer & Digital Marketer will collaborate closely with various departments, including programming, promotions, and sales, as well as directly with clients of the Manchester Media Group. This role will also serve as the local point person for our third-party vendors, ensuring that all digital marketing efforts are aligned with the overall goals of the organization. The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of the digital landscape, including knowledge of audience engagement across different platforms such as exchanges and social media. The successful candidate will be self-motivated, able to work independently, and possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. They will be responsible for managing multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating creativity and good business sense. Additionally, the candidate will need to track and quantify results for various digital campaigns, ensuring that all marketing efforts are effective and yield measurable results. This position requires a strong understanding of graphic design principles and the ability to create effective display advertising messages in various formats, including animated GIFs and static ads. The candidate should also have experience in videography and the ability to produce various video content, including promotional commercials and online ads. Furthermore, proficiency in WordPress for web page design and a solid command of the Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Creative Suite are essential for success in this role.
