As a Graphic Designer specializing in Digital Media, you will play a crucial role in the design and production of various digital marketing materials. Your responsibilities will encompass creating both static and animated digital advertisements, social media graphics, and visual designs for emails and web pages. Additionally, you will be tasked with developing infographics and eBook content. Your role will require you to edit images, format text, and utilize digital photography or stock images as necessary to enhance the visual appeal of the materials you produce. You will manage the graphic design aspects of each project according to assigned schedules, ensuring that all proofing and approval cycles are adhered to. Taking ownership of your work is essential, as you will routinely identify opportunities to improve both the work product and the project process. Proactivity in observing established standards of quality and content will be a key aspect of your role. In terms of responsibilities, you will need to possess a solid understanding of personal computer operations and be experienced in digital marketing design. Proficiency in major desktop publishing applications such as Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Acrobat is required, along with familiarity with Microsoft Word and PowerPoint. Experience with Adobe AfterEffects is a plus. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers, design colleagues, information technologists, and content experts, to ensure the successful execution of marketing projects. Following internal processes for the creation, production, and approval of marketing projects will be essential, as will the ability to allocate your time efficiently to handle multiple demands and competing priorities. Your production responsibilities will include ensuring the quality, accuracy, and consistency of all marketing materials by carefully reviewing your own work and adhering to established brand standards, legal use of trademarks, and naming conventions. You will comply with the overall brand strategy and management for the Wolters Kluwer brand, researching and understanding buyer audiences to recommend appropriate image selections. Maintaining and enforcing the digital asset management (DAM) system with appropriate tagging and structure will also be part of your duties. You will maintain creative style guides and standards for the team's usage as reference material, efficiently managing multiple projects to deliver high-quality work within deadlines. Creatively, you will embrace and adhere to the principles of a customer-focused, market-driven organization. Working closely with the marketing team, you will conceptualize ideas and bring digital campaigns to life, collaborating in the creative process to offer innovative design solutions that meet marketing goals. Staying updated on design trends for various brands and marketing channels will be crucial, as you will continually foster optimization and evolution of style.
