About the position

FRESHJUNKIE Racing is seeking a Graphic Designer to join their team in Baton Rouge, LA. This full-time position involves creating and implementing marketing and social media assets for various endurance events. The designer will work closely with the Marketing & Creative Director to ensure that all designs align with the FJR brand and effectively communicate the desired themes of the events.

Responsibilities

• Create digital designs including web pages, digital graphics, slide shows, social media content, and HTML emails.
• Develop traditional designs such as print projects, signage, and other marketing materials while maintaining brand integrity.
• Incorporate illustrations, pictures, and designs into logos, apparel, finisher medals, and race bibs to reflect event themes.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Travel and work on weekends as needed.

Requirements

• Minimum of one year of graphic design experience.
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, especially Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Passion for running, sports, and marketing.
• Team-oriented with a positive attitude.

Nice-to-haves

• Bachelor's degree in graphic design or a related field.
• Experience with project management software such as Monday or similar tools.
• Familiarity with Web Content Management Systems and JavaScript.
• Experience in video production and editing, especially with Adobe Premiere.
• Photography and/or photo editing skills.
