About the position

The University of Louisville is seeking a Graphic Designer I or II to support the College of Business's branding and marketing efforts. This role involves collaboration with the Marketing and Communications Director to design, produce, and implement various print, digital, and video materials while adhering to university standards and managing multiple projects under tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Director and other stakeholders to develop and implement communications and marketing strategies.
  • Design print and digital marketing and communications materials for external and internal audiences (newsletters, brochures, presentations, logos, emails, etc.).
  • Communicate with constituents throughout planning and production process to ensure final product meets needs.
  • Design print and digital collateral for marketing needs (flyers, programs, posters, etc.).
  • Work with director to maintain university brand standards.
  • Work with university printing and mailing services and outside vendors, when appropriate, to produce and distribute print materials.
  • Plan, shoot and edit still and video photography for the college.
  • Help with technical and design aspects of the college's website and YouTube channel.
  • Help manage vendor billing.
  • Participate in creation of marketing ideas and help write marketing copy.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience for Graphic Designer I.
  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or a related field and two (2) years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience for Graphic Designer II.
