About the position

As a Graphic Designer I, you will collaborate with schools and the sales organization to create custom yearbook cover designs. This role involves hosting online design sessions with customers and creating product solutions that enhance photography for the various Lifetouch businesses. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop consumer product solutions that drive business results and customer engagement. Your responsibilities will also include ensuring the accurate delivery of design files to internal and external production vendors, following specific file specifications. You will need to work quickly and efficiently under tight deadlines across multiple projects, demonstrating your ability to manage time and prioritize tasks effectively. Other duties may be assigned as needed, requiring flexibility and adaptability in your role.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with schools and sales organization to create custom yearbook cover designs.
• Host online design sessions with customers.
• Create product solutions that enhance photography for the various Lifetouch businesses.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop consumer product solutions that drive business results and customer engagement.
• Ensure accurate delivery of design files to internal and external production vendors following file specifications.
• Work quickly and efficiently under tight deadlines across multiple projects.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or related field or equivalent related experience.
• 3-5 years of design experience.
• Portfolio showcasing print-based projects, hand-lettering, and illustration skills preferred.
• Appreciation of typography, layout, composition, and color.
• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
• Ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment and also excel at working independently.
• Willingness to be flexible with tasks on a day-to-day basis and evolve role as required by the needs of the team.
• Proficient in Creative Suite for digital and print.
• Good organizational skills and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented in the execution and follow-up of work.
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work efficiently and balance multiple projects/priorities simultaneously.
• Takes initiative.
