About the position

As a Graphic Designer I, you will play a crucial role in creating compelling visuals for both print and digital content. Your primary responsibility will be to produce high-quality designs that meet the needs of our clients while adhering to our company standards. This position requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to follow established processes to ensure that all design requests are executed flawlessly. You will be expected to manage your time effectively, ensuring that projects are completed on schedule and within budget constraints. In this role, you will spend approximately 70% of your time on print production and 30% on design work. You will work within templates and brand guidelines, ensuring that all designs are consistent and meet the established standards. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential, as you will need to work efficiently through high volumes of work while meeting tight deadlines. Your ability to stay updated on advancements in software and creative techniques will be vital in improving our pre-production processes. Flexibility is key in this position, as you may need to adjust your schedule to accommodate project demands. Additionally, you will be responsible for responding to emails and assisting customers, as well as supporting the sales and marketing teams. This hybrid position allows for remote work a few days each week after training, providing a balance between collaboration and independent work.

Responsibilities

  • Produce high-quality design for customers including advertising campaigns and various print products (70% print production and 30% design)
  • Work within templates, brand standards and guidelines, following established processes for designing, spell checking and proofing
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and work efficiently through high volumes, meeting tight deadlines within established budgets
  • Exhibit a high attention to detail to ensure design requests and edits are met
  • Stay on top of advancements in software, creative techniques, and trends, researching and initiating ways to improve pre-production
  • Exercise flexibility as required by the schedule
  • Respond to emails to help customers as well as the sales and marketing team

Requirements

  • Associate or bachelor's degree in graphic design is preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in design for print and layout design required
  • Experience with Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop is required
  • Ability to collaborate and work in a team environment
