The Graphic Designer I is an integral part of the creation and management of the visual look for all PBI-Gordon Companies and subsidiary brands, helping ensure our marketing materials are visually engaging, consistent and effective at communicating our products and messages to our audiences. In this role, you will work closely with the creative team to develop, design, and execute advertising and marketing concepts from ideation to delivery. This includes creating digital ads, websites, print ads, collateral materials, posters, logos, brochures, and other materials that visually communicate our message and information. You will also be involved in marketing projects such as landing page layout, email layout, social ads, banner ads, print ads, digital and print ad resizing, flyers, invitations, brochures, and more. Your design solutions will drive engagement and translate business objectives into visual concepts. Your work will encompass projects involving brand identity creation, campaign concepting and execution, responsive web design, infographics, illustration, print collateral, and video graphics. Collaboration with the account management team will be essential to manage creative deliverables, ensuring that deadlines and budgets are met. You will present creative deliverables, guiding stakeholders to strong creative solutions, and create and implement visual brand standards to ensure consistency across all channels. Additionally, you may be assigned other duties as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Work on marketing projects such as landing page layout, email layout, social ads, banner ads, print ads, digital and print ad resizing, flyers, invitations, brochures, and more.

  • Engage in projects involving brand identity creation, campaign concepting and execution, responsive web design, infographics, illustration, print collateral, and video graphics.
  • Collaborate with the account management team to manage creative deliverables, ensuring deadlines and budgets are met.
  • Present creative deliverables, guiding stakeholders to strong creative solutions.
  • Create and implement visual brand standards to ensure consistency across all channels.
  • Perform all other duties as may be assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in graphic design or related field of study.
  • 1+ years of experience in graphic design in traditional and digital sectors or equivalent work experience.
  • Proficient in Adobe InDesign and/or Illustrator and Mac OS Systems.
  • Understanding of HTML & CSS, illustration and video/animation.
  • Experience in motion design (After Effects/Premiere Pro) and Adobe Dimension or 3D software is a plus.
  • Knowledge of print and digital production, including motion graphics, banner design, and UI/UX design.
  • Knowledge of design aesthetics, style variations, and awareness of design trends and innovations.
  • Proven ability to create designs for a variety of audiences, brands, and industries, in multi-platform ad campaigns including traditional and social, eComm and mobile channels.
  • Strong presentation skills for strategic, creative and brand deliverables.
  • Ability and willingness to quickly adapt to new technologies and keep skills and industry knowledge current.
  • Strong collaborative problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Familiar with pre-press, estimating, and utilizing project management best practices and quality assurance.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in motion design (After Effects/Premiere Pro) and Adobe Dimension or 3D software is a plus.
