About the position

The Graphic Designer I at Premium Mortgage Corporation is responsible for providing creative graphic design services for both print and web applications. This entry-level position involves a variety of tasks that contribute to the overall marketing efforts of the company. The designer will primarily work with templates to create layouts for various marketing materials, including flyers, brochures, postcards, emails, and social media posts. While the majority of the work will involve template-based designs, there will also be opportunities for creative input and original design work. In addition to design tasks, the Graphic Designer I will maintain and organize project files and folder structures to ensure efficient workflow. The role also includes hands-on tasks such as printing, cutting, folding, packaging projects, and mailing materials. The designer will assist with general marketing tasks, including event support, and will be expected to adapt to other duties as needed. Training will be provided as necessary to help the designer succeed in their role. Responsibilities

• Create layouts for flyers, brochures, postcards, emails, and social media content.
• Utilize templates for the majority of design work while incorporating creative elements.
• Maintain and organize project files and folder structures.
• Print, cut, fold, package projects and mailers.
• Assist with general marketing tasks, including event support.
• Adapt to other tasks as needed and participate in training as required.

Requirements

• 1-3 years of experience in graphic design or related field.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat).
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
• Experience with Google Docs, Forms, and Sheets.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to handle last-minute changes and provide constructive criticism.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.

• Experience with WordPress and blogging.
• Knowledge of animation and video editing.
