About The Position

As a Graphic Designer II for Men's Basketball NBA Apparel at NIKE, Inc., you will leverage your creativity and problem-solving skills to design NBA uniforms that reflect Nike's ethos and resonate with athletes and fans. This role involves storytelling through uniform design, integrating narrative elements, and collaborating with various teams to create innovative and trend-relevant designs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Design, Art, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 1-4+ years of graphic design experience in an agency or in-house setting.
• Well-curated portfolio showcasing a variety of design projects.
• High proficiency in Adobe Illustrator; knowledge of Adobe InDesign and Photoshop is a plus.
• Competency in 3D design tools is a plus, with a desire to learn.
• Understanding of Typography, Color Theory, Brand Identity, and Design Principles.
• Passion for current and emerging design trends and visual culture.
• Ability to translate insights into authentic narratives and visual storytelling.
• Positive attitude and ability to work through challenging briefs and ambiguity.

Responsibilities

• Support the ideation, creation, and development of the NBA Uniform team.
• Design seasonal visual centers and conceptualize creative narratives.
• Create product schematics for apparel development.
• Collaborate with internal and external product and design partners on construction and development.
• Participate in brainstorm sessions and design reviews to ensure alignment with project goals.
