About the position

The Graphic Designer II position at Nelnet Business Services involves creating compelling and strategic graphic designs for various media. This role is part of a dynamic marketing team that supports the advertising efforts for all Nelnet Business Services brands. The designer will collaborate closely with team members, contribute to creative brainstorming sessions, and ensure that all designs align with brand standards and project requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Produces bold, strategic, persuasive, branded creative in all media
  • Works within team to develop and execute on creative concepts for all of Nelnet's lines of business
  • Plays a key role in brainstorm sessions and client presentations
  • Executes on projects through all phases of production
  • Ensures creative is on strategy, reflects brand standards and adheres to budget and time constraints
  • Learn and collaborate with team on latest graphic design trends, best practices, Adobe Creative Suite features
  • Understanding of higher level printing processes, photography, illustration and typography
  • Heads team on 508 compliance and document accessibility
  • Works under supervision of Senior Designer and/or Art Director

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • 3+ years of experience in the graphic design field
  • Experienced in working with Adobe Creative Cloud, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
  • Client presentation experience required
