Job Summary: We are seeking a talented and experienced Designer II to join our creative team. As a Graphic Designer II, you will play a crucial role in conceptualizing and executing design projects across various mediums, ensuring they align with our brand identity and objectives. This position requires a combination of strong design skills, creativity, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the creative team to translate concepts and ideas into visually compelling designs across print, digital, and multimedia platforms.
  • Develop and maintain a strong visual identity for our brand, ensuring consistency across all design assets.
  • Create engaging and impactful designs for marketing collateral, advertisements, presentations, social media, and other promotional materials.
  • Work with developers and UX teams to design and optimize website layouts and graphics to create visually appealing and user-friendly web experiences.
  • Prepare print-ready files, collaborate with external vendors, and ensure high-quality production of marketing materials.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions, contribute innovative ideas, and provide design recommendations to meet project objectives.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and design best practices, integrating them into projects as appropriate.
  • Effectively communicate design concepts, ideas, and rationale to stakeholders and team members, ensuring clarity and alignment.
  • Conduct thorough reviews of design work to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to brand guidelines and project specifications.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in graphic design, visual communication, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of professional design experience in an agency or in-house creative team.
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other design tools.
  • Strong understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout composition.
  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and responsive design principles.
  • Experience with content management systems (CMS) and web development platforms is advantageous.
  • A strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of design work that demonstrates creativity, technical proficiency, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team, collaborate with stakeholders, and incorporate feedback into design iterations.
  • Excellent organizational skills, ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts and ideas clearly and concisely.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with additional design tools beyond Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Familiarity with user experience (UX) design principles.
  • Knowledge of marketing strategies and branding best practices.
