Requirements

  • Associate degree in applied science.
  • Bachelor of Science (preferred, i.e., Graphics Design, Digital Media, etc.).
  • Five + years' experience in Illustration Design, Graphics and 2-D Animations and/or Digital Media or applicable experience.
  • Previous work/training development experience for automotive manufacturing a plus.
  • Technical writing skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Able to work in cross-functional & cross-cultural environment.
  • Ability to work independently or on a team.
  • Technical Writing, multimedia, curriculum, and course development.
  • Automotive manufacturing technical background a plus but not required.
  • Ability to quickly learn innovative technology.
  • Experience creating Web based training and Instructor Led Training materials.
  • Familiar with project management tools.
  • Competent user of multimedia authoring tools, particularly Captivate, Articulate Storyline 3 and/or 360.
  • Competent user of Adobe Creative Cloud, Media Encoder, SnagIt, Premier, Camtasia or other similar tools.
  • Windows Outlook/Word/Visio/Excel.

Responsibilities

  • Provide graphics design, illustration, and 2-D animation development.
  • Develop ILT and WBT instructional material for technical training courses pertaining to automotive manufacturing equipment and other subjects.
  • Work with instructional designers to provide graphics, 2-D animations, line drawings, illustrations, editing of video clips, retouching of photographs, development of technical training, templating of newsletters, development of Single Point Lessons, course design documents, objectives, scripts, storyboards, and PowerPoint presentations.
  • Demonstrate and utilize effective time management and technical writing skills.
  • Conduct research and develop materials for both internal and external audiences.
  • Utilize multimedia technology, authoring and graphics tools.
  • Work with instructional designers, client subject matter experts, and stakeholders to determine needs and create supporting elements and training content.
