About the position

G.LION HAWAII is seeking a talented and versatile Graphic Designer & Marketing Coordinator to join our team. This full-time position is split between two primary locations and involves overseeing multiple brands, including La Vie, Quiora, and Hy's Steak House, among others. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and managing both digital and print marketing materials, maintaining our web and social media profiles, and responding to guest inquiries across various platforms. This role requires a self-motivated individual who can work independently, manage multiple brand images, and thrive in a dynamic environment. In the digital realm, the Graphic Designer & Marketing Coordinator will design engaging social media graphics, including text posts, GIFs, and digital ads. They will also create designs for various apparel products, respond to guest reviews and inquiries on social media, and maintain web content on platforms like WordPress, Elementor, and Shopify. Additionally, the role includes managing social media profiles on sites such as OpenTable, Yelp, Google My Business, Trip Advisor, and Expedia, as well as designing and distributing a weekly digital newsletter and writing copy for various promotions. On the print side, the responsibilities include designing and producing weekly printed ads, creating and updating custom menus using Adobe InDesign, and producing other marketing materials such as brochures, stationary, gift tags, and signage. The candidate will also assist with order fulfillment and product listings on Shopify. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a diverse and dynamic team in a creative environment, contributing to the marketing efforts of G.LION HAWAII's various brands.

Responsibilities

  • Design engaging social media graphics, including text posts, GIFs, and digital ads.
  • Create designs for various apparel products like T-shirts, hats, and product labels.
  • Respond to reviews, questions, and comments on various social media sites.
  • Edit and update information, menus, links, images, and content on WordPress, Elementor, and Shopify.
  • Manage and update profiles on OpenTable, Yelp, Google My Business, Trip Advisor, and Expedia.
  • Design and distribute a weekly digital newsletter.
  • Write copy for various promotions and marketing collateral.
  • Design and produce weekly printed ads.
  • Create and update custom menus using Adobe InDesign.
  • Design, print, and produce other marketing materials such as tri-fold brochures, stationary, gift tags, instruction note cards, check presenters, and wall signage.
  • Assist with order fulfillment and product listings on Shopify.

Requirements

  • Experience in Adobe InDesign (Required), Photoshop, Lightroom, and Illustrator.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite, Google applications, or similar tools.
  • A keen eye for aesthetics and details.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to oversee multiple projects efficiently and methodically to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to adhere to or improve our style guides and company presence.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn and try new things.
  • Self-driven with a desire for growth and additional responsibility.
  • Interest in the food, beverage, or hospitality industry.
