About the position

The Graphic Design Marketing Intern will assist the Graphic Designer in creating graphic designs and coordinating creative design initiatives to enhance brand awareness for Royal Credit Union. This role involves maintaining a consistent brand image across various channels and supporting multiple marketing initiatives aligned with the organization's goals. The internship is a full-time commitment for 12 months, requiring enrollment in a University or Technical College throughout the duration.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Graphic Designer in creating graphic designs.
• Coordinate creative design initiatives to achieve marketing goals.
• Maintain a clear message and consistent brand image across all channels, including web and digital.
• Support multiple marketing initiatives related to overall Marketing Strategies and Corporate Goals.

Requirements

• Enrolled at a University or Technical College throughout the internship.
• Pursuing a degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, Advertising, or a similar field.
• Understanding of current design trends and related marketing techniques.
• Ability to work independently.
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and written communication skills.
• Strong work ethic.
• Experience with marketing computer software.
• Willingness to learn on the job and share experiences with the team.
• Ability to work efficiently in a high volume environment with multiple deadlines and changing priorities.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud, including Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator.
