About the position

We are seeking a passionate and self-motivated Graphic Designer/Marketing Specialist to join our marketing team. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a creative environment and is eager to contribute to our brand's visual identity. As a Graphic Designer, you will be responsible for bringing ideas to life through visually striking designs that align with our brand and communicate our culture and offerings to our target audiences. You will collaborate closely with both the internal marketing team and external marketing agencies to develop creative concepts for campaigns and events across our locations. Your designs will include a variety of marketing materials such as menus, promotional flyers, posters, email campaigns, and social media content. In this role, you will also liaise with external photographers to capture visual assets that can be utilized for all marketing materials, ensuring brand consistency across all designs. You will be tasked with creating, proofreading, and revising copy for promotional materials, websites, and menus, while providing creative input and direction for the company's digital presence. Managing multiple projects from concept through completion under tight deadlines will be a key part of your responsibilities. You will utilize data-driven insights and industry best practices to optimize design strategies and drive audience engagement, while staying up-to-date with industry trends to keep our brand innovative and engaging. Flexibility and adaptability are essential, as you will undertake additional duties as assigned to support overall team success.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the internal marketing team and external marketing agency to develop creative concepts for campaigns and events across our locations.
  • Translate business goals into visually compelling promotional materials.
  • Design and produce marketing materials including menus, promotional flyers, posters, email campaigns, and social media content.
  • Liaise with external photographers to capture visual assets for marketing materials.
  • Ensure brand consistency across all visual designs and marketing materials.
  • Create, proofread, and/or revise copy for promotional materials, website, menus, etc.
  • Provide creative input and direction for the company's website and digital presence.
  • Manage multiple projects from concept through completion under tight deadlines.
  • Utilize data-driven insights and industry best practices to optimize design strategies and drive audience engagement.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to keep our brand innovative and engaging.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (Design, Digital Communications, Marketing).
  • 2-3 years of graphic design experience.
  • 1-2 years of restaurant experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in industry-standard design software, particularly Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) and Canva.
  • Excellent organization skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with an eye for detail.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong collaborative attitude and ability to work as a team player.
  • Responsive to constructive criticism and performance feedback.
  • Strong creative skills and ability to think outside the box.

Nice-to-haves
