About the position

We are seeking a talented and passionate Freelance Graphic Designer to work with a client who is a leader in consumer packaging goods. In this part-time, temporary role, you will be responsible for bringing brands to life across various digital and print channels, ensuring consistent and effective communication of brand messages. This ongoing freelance opportunity is expected to require approximately 20 hours of work per week for over 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Adapt existing creative toolkits to meet the unique specifications of various online retailer templates.
• Interpret creative briefs and project direction, transforming complex information into clear, compelling visuals that resonate with target audiences and drive business results.
• Confidently apply existing brand style guides and key visuals across a range of marketing tactics.
• Generate fresh creative concepts and designs as needed, pushing the boundaries of brands' visual identities.
• Provide sound strategic rationale to support your creative recommendations.
• Partner effectively with the Design Manager, Creative Content Managers/Project Managers, and Copywriters to deliver integrated, impactful campaigns.
• Utilize Monday.com to manage assignments, track progress, and ensure timely delivery of assets.
• Save all working files on the Smucker server for easy access and project continuity.

Requirements

• Proven graphic design experience, with a strong portfolio showcasing your skills in digital and print design.
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.).
• Experience with motion design and light animation is a plus.
• A keen eye for detail and a passion for creating visually engaging content.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
