About the position

The Graphic Designer / Print Production Specialist at Minuteman Press is responsible for managing print production and design orders while ensuring client satisfaction. This role involves direct communication with clients, creating work orders, and collaborating with the in-house production team to deliver high-quality print products.

Responsibilities

• Communicate directly with clients via email and phone to facilitate print production and design orders.
• Create work orders, quotes, and process invoices for client projects using proprietary software.
• Collaborate with the in-house print production and bindery team.
• Follow up with clients regarding proofs and other project inquiries.
• Ensure customer satisfaction with products and services.
• Educate clients about additional products and services to help market their business.
• Determine effective ways to answer client questions and escalate concerns to the business owner.

Requirements

• 1 year of experience with Adobe InDesign.
• 1 year of experience with Adobe Creative Suite applications (InDesign, Illustrator, Acrobat).
• 1 year of experience with Adobe Illustrator.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
• Strong time management and prioritization skills.
• Attention to detail and responsibility.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with digital print production equipment (Xerox).
• Experience with bindery machinery, including guillotine cutter, padder, coil binding, folder, etc.
• Proficiency in phone, email, and face-to-face interaction with clients.
• Knowledge of paper brands and types.
• Knowledge of print-related products.
