About the position

The Graphic Designer / Print Production Specialist role at Minuteman Press involves working in a full-service print, design, and marketing environment. The position focuses on creating and managing print production orders while ensuring client satisfaction through effective communication and design expertise. The ideal candidate will have experience with digital print production equipment and Adobe Creative Suite applications, along with strong time management and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Communicate directly with clients via email and phone to facilitate print production and design orders.
• Create work orders, quotes, and process invoices for client projects using proprietary software.
• Collaborate with the in-house print production and bindery team.
• Follow up with clients regarding proofs and project inquiries.
• Ensure customer satisfaction with products and services.
• Educate clients about additional products and services to help market their business.
• Determine effective ways to answer client questions and escalate concerns to the business owner.

Requirements

• Experience with digital print production equipment (Xerox).
• Experience with bindery machinery, including guillotine cutter, padder, coil binding, and folder.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite applications (InDesign, Illustrator, Acrobat).
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
• Strong communication skills for client interaction via phone, email, and in-person.
• Knowledge of paper brands and types, and print-related products.
• Time management and prioritization skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
