About the position
Sixtrees Ltd. is seeking a talented and creative Graphic Designer/Product Developer to join their team. This role focuses on creating compelling graphics and design elements for home décor products, including decorative signs and wall art. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of design principles and trends in the home accessory and gift business, and will work closely with merchandising and sourcing teams to produce high-quality designs that resonate with customers.
Responsibilities
- Develop and design Decorative Signs, Wall Art, & Home/Tabletop Décor
- Produce factory specifications
- Collaborate with the Merchandising and Sourcing team
- Utilize Adobe Creative Suite to produce high-quality designs
- Attend occasional meetings at offices, showrooms, trade shows, and customer locations
Requirements
- A portfolio link showcasing previous work is required
- Experience in the Gift & Décor industry is highly desirable
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) is required
- Experience in digital art creation is required
- Experience in Surface Pattern Design is highly desirable
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively
- A degree in Graphic Design or a related field is preferred but not mandatory; relevant experience will be considered
- 3 - 5 years work experience in this field is required
Nice-to-haves
- Background in Surface Pattern graphic design and illustration within the home décor industry
